Agitators are customised and designed to achieve the best possible degree of mixing with minimum batch time optimising the use of power. Most common applications are mixing particulate solids or granular solids with liquids or mixing two different liquids in varied proportions to form a homogenous dispersion or mixer.
Agitators are available in Mild Steel painted by epoxy or FRP or Rubber lined construction are preferred in Water & Wastewater Treatment Plants or mixing neutral slurries. Commonly preferred Materials of MSFRP, SS304, SS316, and SS316L are more preferred in Industrial and chemical applications.
Standard Agitator with Tank includes:
A tank of suitable material with structural supports & necessary service nozzles.
Motor, Gear Box and stand support assembly with Bearing housing.
Suitable design of Coupling, Shaft & Impellers.
Standard Agitator without Tank includes:
Agitator Support frame spanning Tank.
Motor, Gear Box and stand support assembly with Bearing housing.
Suitable Design of Coupling, Shaft & Impellers.
Large size Agitators may have bottom or intermittent guide bearing arrangement.
