Bio-Tech was founded by Dr. D. R. Kenkre on the balcony of his Thane apartment back in 1986.
Here are the major milestones we have achieved over the last 35 years.
Bio-Tech Engineers was started at Thane near Mumbai with a core business of consultancy and tailor made equipment for water/effluent/sewage treatment.
Bio-Tech Envirocare Systems Pvt. Ltd. was incorporated under the Companies Act as a Private Limited company.
Bio-Tech moves its office premises to a new location in Thane.
Completes more than 30 projects within 2 years and establishes a manufacturing unit at MIDC Rabale, Navi Mumbai.
Bio-Tech wins its first turnkey project to construct a 45 MLD sewage treatment plant at Saidpur in India.
This marks the beginning of turnkey projects along with its core business of designing and manufacturing equipment.
Bio-Tech Envirocare Systems Pvt. Ltd. becomes a closely held limited company, Bio-Tech Envirocare Systems Ltd.
Bio-Tech ventures into international markets covering Middle Eastern countries like Oman, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, UAE and South East Asian countries like Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, Hongkong, and China.
Bio-Tech is certified to ISO 9001-1994 by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA).
Shifts to new office premises at TTC Industrial Area in Rabale, Navi Mumbai.
Bio-Tech bags a prestigious contract for supplying sewage treatment plant equipment to a 140 MLD project at Al Khumrah in Saudi Arabia.
Completes many prestigious projects in the export market within the next 5 years.
Bio-Tech is certified to ISO 9001-2000 by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance.
Bio-Tech achieves a leadership position in the domestic and export market with many prestigious projects under our bel.
Completes many other projects like 40 MLD STP at Kasarwadi, 18 MLD STP at Bopodi in India, Saham, Masirah, Royal Hospital STP projects in Oman, Common effluent treatment plant in Vietnam to name a few.
An outstanding feat of more than 400 projects in 19 years.
Bio-Tech receives "International Quality Excellence" Award from the Industrial Productivity Forum for its outstanding quality of equipment.
Many prestigious projects like Sur/ Buraimi/ Sumail/ Nizwa/ Doumat Al Jandal/ 250 MLD Jeddah STP are executed in the Middle East further strengthening its export base.
The first STP based on SBR technology was successfully executed at Liwa, Oman with 3 MLD capacity.
The first STP based on MBR technology was also executed at Halban, Oman.
Bio-Tech is appointed representative by Purafil Inc, a USA-based company for their odour control systems where they are the world leaders.
Bio-Tech is also appointed representative by Delphin Inc, another USA-based company for their package treatment plants in PE tanks.
