Agitators are available in Mild Steel painted by epoxy or FRP or Rubber lined construction are preferred in Water & Wastewater Treatment Plants or mixing neutral slurries. Standard Agitator with Tank includes: A tank of suitable material with structural supports & necessary service nozzles. Motor, Gear Box and stand support assembly with Bearing housing. Suitable design of Coupling, Shaft & Impellers. Standard Agitator without Tank includes: Agitator Support frame spanning Tank. Motor, Gear Box and stand support assembly with Bearing housing. Suitable Design of Coupling, Shaft & Impellers. Large size Agitators may have bottom or intermittent guide bearing arrangement.
Agitators can be designed for following Tanks: Tank geometry of round, square or rectangular shape. Tank Depths. Baffled or Unbaffled Tanks. Large RCC pulp or slurry storage tanks. Blending vessels, Reaction vessels, Homogenising vessels, and Cooling vessels. Commonly preferred material of Agitator constructions such as preferred Materials of MSFRP, SS304, SS316, and SS316L
